The Landscapes of Israel

We had the pleasure of engaging with a vibrant group of 3rd to 5th-grade students in our second session of The Stand With Israel Art Program.

Our theme for the day was "The Landscape of Israel," and it was truly a journey of exploration and expression. Guided by Mrs. Greenspan, the students watched a short video showcasing the rich tapestry of Israel's scenery. With meticulous attention to detail, they sketched the landscapes they chose, transitioning from pencil outlines to bold Sharpie strokes before bringing them to life with watercolors. Witnessing their keen observations translated into art was nothing short of incredible.

To add a touch of experimentation, they explored using some salt to create fascinating textures in their watercolor pieces.
